Basketball Recap: St. James Takes a Loss

St. James lost against Waseca back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The St. James Saints took an 82-66 bruising from the Waseca Bluejays. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 169th, while the Bluejays are ranked 14th).

St. James' loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Waseca, the win keeps them at an undefeated 26-0.

St. James has already played their next matchup, a 91-78 defeat against Jackson County Central on the 17th. As for Waseca, they will face off against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
