Soccer Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Northwood was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Genoa Area Comets. If Northwood were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to Genoa Area when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Genoa Area, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwood will square off against Oak Harbor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Genoa Area, they will head out to face off against Otsego at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
