Basketball Recap: Mercer County Takes a Loss

Mercer County suffered their biggest loss since January 9th on Monday. They lost 50-30 to the Sherrard Tigers. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Mercer County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Sherrard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-5.

Looking ahead, Mercer County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Bede at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sherrard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
