Dwyer is 6-0 against Boynton Beach since November of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Dwyer Panthers take on the Boynton Beach Tigers at 7:30 p.m.

Dwyer is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against King's Academy on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Dwyer was dealt a 73-40 defeat at the hands of King's Academy. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Lions are ranked 21st).

Maya Kutsmeda put forth a good effort for the losing side as she went 5 of 9 on her way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was C'Orna Greene, who posted six points.

Meanwhile, Boynton Beach beat Wellington 41-34 on Thursday.

Dwyer's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Boynton Beach, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Dwyer strolled past Boynton Beach when the teams last played back in January of 2021 by a score of 50-33. Does Dwyer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Boynton Beach turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
