Baseball Recap: Five Straight Road Victories for Churchill

Churchill came out on top against LEE on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fourth inning. The Chargers were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Volunteers. That's more bragging rights for the Chargers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Churchill pushed their record up to 11-15 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for LEE, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19-1.

Churchill will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Volunteers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
