Basketball Recap: Davenport North Beats Liberty for Their Third Straight Victory

It's playoff time, and Davenport North had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Liberty Lightning 92-78 on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on three straight.

Despite the loss, Liberty still got an impressive performance from Jerimiah Washpun, who en route to 29 points in addition to five assists and five boards. That was a full 37.2% of Liberty's points, marking the third time in a row Washpun has posted more than a third of the team's points. Brady Randall was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Davenport North's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Liberty, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

As of now, neither Davenport North nor Liberty have any future games scheduled.
