Baseball Recap: Buckfield Falls Short of Boothbay in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Buckfield can now relate to. They fell just short of the Boothbay Seahawks by a score of 6-5 on Thursday.

He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jonas Culleton, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Buckfield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Boothbay, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.
