Basketball Recap: West Jefferson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Salmon last Tuesday, West Jefferson came back down to earth. The West Jefferson Panthers fell to the North Fremont Huskies 63-58. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now lost six in a row.

West Jefferson now has a losing record at 6-7. As for North Fremont, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-9.

West Jefferson won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bear Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Jefferson is facing Bear Lake at the right time seeing as Bear Lake is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for North Fremont, they will be playing at home against Firth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
