Flag Football Game Preview: Marana Tigers vs. Hamilton Huskies + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Isabella Garcia and Marlie Phillips are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Marana Tigers will be playing at home against the Hamilton Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Marana will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Marana is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Queen Creek get on the board and left with a 14-0 win.

Marana didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Malaysia Roebuck and Roxi Singer.

Meanwhile, Hamilton faced Mountain View in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Huskies put the hurt on the Toros with a sharp 28-3 victory. Fans of the Huskies have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Marana better keep an eye on Samaya Taylor-Jenkins. She was instrumental in Hamilton's win, picking up 175 receiving yards and two touchdowns. That's the most receiving yards Taylor-Jenkins has posted since back in October of 2024. Markiah Riley was another key player, picking up 40 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Hamilton's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Demi Woods with two sacks.

Marana's record is now 17-0. As for Hamilton, their record now sits at 19-0.
