Central of Clay County came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 64-44 margin over the Cleburne County Tigers. The Volunteers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Central of Clay County's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Cleburne County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
