If Jackson was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Clarke County on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Aggies fell 3-1 to the Excel Panthers on Tuesday. The Aggies' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Jackson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-20.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Excel, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Excel, they will be playing at home against Escambia County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
