Baseball Game Preview: Master's Academy Eagles vs. Sunset Knights

The Master's Academy Eagles will take on the Sunset Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Master's Academy's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Sunset has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

Last Thursday, Master's Academy didn't have quite enough to beat King's Academy and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

Master's Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Smith snagged this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sunset). They put the hurt on ABF Academy with a sharp 12-1 victory on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Master's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Sunset, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
