Basketball Recap: Wagon Mound Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 25-25 at halftime, Wagon Mound was not quite Des Moines's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Des Moines Demons. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Demons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 54-35 loss two weeks ago.

Wagon Mound has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. Des Moines' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-15.

Wagon Mound does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Des Moines, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 77-47 defeat against Cimarron on the 26th.
