Baseball Recap: Valley Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Valley was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. They blew past the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights 16-4. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by exactly 12 runs.

Seth Hammock was a standout: he scored four runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Carter Green was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Valley pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Alexandria on the 15th. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, they will square off against Midfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
