Softball Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short

Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Nighthawks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 17-5 loss last Friday.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Murrieta Valley, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chaparral will take on rival Vista Murrieta at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Murrieta Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Temecula Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
