Baseball Recap: Overlea Takes a Loss

Overlea lost against New Town back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons came up short against New Town, falling 14-1. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Overlea's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for New Town, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Overlea will head out to face off against Woodlawn at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.67 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. After both having extra time off, New Town and Milford Mill Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The Millers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.33 runs per game on average), something New Town will no doubt try to take advantage of.
