Basketball Recap: Salem Baptist Christian Vikings vs. Gospel Light Christian

Church is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Ali Phillips, who went 5 for 8 en route to 11 points plus five rebounds.

Gospel Light Christian's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salem Baptist Christian will face off against Sheets Memorial Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gospel Light Christian, they will square off against Vandalia Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
