Volleyball Recap: Fulton Takes a Loss

Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Cole Camp Blue Birds.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12.

Bre Knighten paced Fulton's offense, picking up five kills. Knighten got some help from Estella Vanschenkhof and her ten assists. Knighten was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-20. As for Cole Camp, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-3-5.

Coming up, Fulton will face off against Veritas Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cole Camp, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Warsaw on the 18th.
