Basketball Game Preview: Glen Ullin/Hebron Bearcats vs. South Heart Eagles

The Glen Ullin/Hebron Bearcats will head out on the road to square off against the South Heart Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Glen Ullin/Hebron is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Dakota's top teams: Wilton/Wing, who was ranked sixth at the time (Glen Ullin/Hebron was ranked 17th). Glen Ullin/Hebron fell just short of Wilton/Wing by a score of 66-64 on Saturday. The Bearcats have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Heart). They breezed by Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] to the tune of 72-41 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Glen Ullin/Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for South Heart, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Glen Ullin/Hebron strolled past South Heart in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 49-34. Will Glen Ullin/Hebron repeat their success, or does South Heart have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
