Sullivan had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Villa Grove Blue Devils. That's more bragging rights for the Redskins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sullivan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-23, 25-20.

Sullivan's victory bumped their record up to 19-14. As for Villa Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Sullivan will challenge Okaw Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Villa Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
