Basketball Recap: Hagerty Takes a Loss

After flying high against Oviedo last Monday, Hagerty came back down to earth. The Hagerty Huskies came up short against the Osceola Kowboys on Tuesday, falling 54-30. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Kowboys apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Hagerty lost, don't look at Isabel Lindauer. Despite the final result, she posted nine points and four blocks. Those four blocks gave Lindauer a new career-high.

Keyanna S. continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Osceola, putting up 19 points. Another player making a difference was Cheyenne P., who had 11 points.

Hagerty's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Osceola, their record is now 3-4.

Hagerty will head out to face off against Lake Brantley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Osceola, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-17 defeat against Edgewater on the 11th.
