Applewood Christian sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 34-32 win over Plaza Heights Christian Academy. The victory was familiar territory for Applewood Christian who have now won five contests in a row.

Lighthouse Prep Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points per game. As for Applewood Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Lighthouse Prep Academy beat Applewood Christian 40-33 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lighthouse Prep Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
