Basketball Game Preview: Chaney Cowboys vs. Solon Comets

The Chaney Cowboys and the Solon Comets will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Chaney had just enough and edged Perry out 52-50.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Solon). They snuck past Wadsworth with an 81-77 win on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Comets as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Chaney is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Solon, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
