Football Recap: Harrison Blue Tide vs. Ridgefield Memorial Royals
While Harrison put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Ridgefield Memorial. The Blue Tide breezed past the Royals to the tune of 48-0. The Blue Tide pushed the score to 29-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Royals had little chance of recovering from.
Harrison's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kasandra Rodriguez, who rushed for 63 yards and one TD on only seven carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. Mya De Jesus was in the mix as well, providing the Blue Tide with two touchdowns.
Harrison didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. De Jesus led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Nada Bana got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Harrison pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
