After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arroyo Grande, Lompoc was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Mission College Prep Royals 42-14. With the Braves ahead 28-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Lompoc's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Parker House, who rushed for 76 yards and two scores. Those 76 rushing yards gave House a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lompoc was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 295 rushing yards. They are a perfect 5-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Lompoc didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Kasch Kubasiewicz, Nelson Brown, and Noah Kinard picked up one apiece.

Lompoc's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Mission College Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Lompoc will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Joseph at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights' defense has only allowed 9.2 points per game this season, so the Braves' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mission College Prep, they will take on Paso Robles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Royals will be up against the Bearcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.63 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
