Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Carondelet couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the James Logan Colts on Tuesday. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: James Logan scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 17-25, 25-22.

Emma Tran was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 16 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October.

Carondelet's defeat dropped their record down to 28-10. As for James Logan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-8 record this season.

Carondelet does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for James Logan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Del Oro on the 13th.
