After flying high against Sheldon last Friday, Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley came back down to earth. The NIGHTHAWKS came up short against the Cherokee Washington Braves on Friday, falling 43-20. The NIGHTHAWKS' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Cherokee Washington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley will host Unity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The NIGHTHAWKS will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Cherokee Washington, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Western Christian at 7:00 p.m.
