Soccer Game Preview: Tilton School vs. Austin Prep

Tilton School hasn't had much luck against Austin Prep recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Rams will challenge the Cougars at 1:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tilton School managed to slip by Brewster Academy National the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams came up short against the Bobcats on Wednesday, falling 11-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Austin Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Berwick Academy a 1-0 shutout on Wednesday. The win was all the more spectacular given Austin Prep's disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 190th in Massachusetts, while Berwick Academy are ranked 30th in Maine).

Tilton School's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Austin Prep, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-3.
