Volleyball Recap: Marian Extends Winning Streak to Four

Marian entered their tilt with Romeo on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

Quinn Nelson paced Marian's offense, picking up ten kills. Nelson got some help from Allie Davison and her 17 assists. Davison was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Marian's victory bumped their record up to 33-3. As for Romeo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-10-1 record this season.

Marian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Forest Hills Northern on the 11th. As for Romeo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Detroit Country Day on the 11th.
