Basketball Recap: Pendleton County's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Anderson County, Pendleton County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They snuck past the Augusta Panthers with a 69-63 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Pendleton County's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Augusta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pendleton County will challenge Harrison County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Harrison County will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Pendleton County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Augusta, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ludlow at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
