Oakland Christian extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 5-9 in the process. Everything went their way against the Southfield Christian Eagles as they made off with a 12-2 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

As for Southfield Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Southfield Christian's part, Bella Thomas made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Thomas is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played. Lucia Reis was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.
