Basketball Recap: Murtaugh Comes Up Short

Murtaugh played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 65-38 defeat at the hands of the Ririe Bulldogs. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Murtaugh now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Ririe, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Murtaugh and West Side will face off at 5:45 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. The Red Devils will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ririe, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against The Ambrose School at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
