Recap: SEED DC vs. KIPP DC Legacy College Prep Bulldogs
SEED DC's 29-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell to KIPP DC Legacy College Prep 55-50. The result was an unpleasant reminder to SEED DC of the 58-50 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture last Monday.
SEED DC's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Mercer, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wendell Allsbrook, who scored 12 points.
SEED DC's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for KIPP DC Legacy College Prep, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.
SEED DC won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Parkside at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Averaging 67.9 so far this season, Parkside's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so SEED DC better be ready for a challenge. As for KIPP DC Legacy College Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Idea at 7:00 p.m.
