Volleyball Recap: Provo's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

With a playoff win on the line, Provo rose to the challenge on Saturday. They skirted past the Snow Canyon Warriors 3-2.

Provo was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Talon Colarusso paced Provo's offense, picking up 18 kills. Colarusso got some help from Tucker Snarr and his 45 assists. Taylor Liechty and Corban Tidwell kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Provo's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13. As for Snow Canyon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

Looking ahead, Provo will challenge Murray at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Snow Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
