Soccer Game Preview: Heathwood Hall Episcopal vs. Providence

The Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders will head out to square off against the Providence Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heathwood Hall Episcopal's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal had taken Ben Lippen down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Highlanders came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Providence managed to keep up with Columbia until halftime last Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Panthers lost 4-0 to the Capitals.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Providence, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal was able to grind out a solid victory over Providence in their previous matchup back in March, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highlanders since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
