Basketball Recap: KIPP Nashville Collegiate Takes a Loss

KIPP Nashville Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 59-4 loss at the hands of the Stratford Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 98-10 back in January.

Hannah Johnson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten boards for Stratford. The dominant performance also gave Johnson a new career-high in assists (two). Taniya Roberts was another key player, putting up six points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.

KIPP Nashville Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Stratford, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
