Soccer Game Preview: Santee vs. Dr. Maya Angelou Community

The Santee Falcons are taking a road trip to face off against the Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.

Santee is headed into Friday's following a draw, the team's first since December 2. They and Los Angeles finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.

Daniel Osorto-Flores and Angel Moralez Moralez scored both of Santee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Meanwhile, Dr. Maya Angelou Community entered their tilt with Manual Arts on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Toilers onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. The Phoenix might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Dr. Maya Angelou Community pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four matches. With that draw, Santee's record moves to 4-2-2.
