Softball Game Preview: Clinton River Kings vs. Central DeWitt

Clinton hasn't had much luck against Central DeWitt recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The River Kings will host Central DeWitt at 5:00 p.m. Clinton has given up an average of 12.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Clinton came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-7 to Calamus-Wheatland.

Calamus-Wheatland typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Central DeWitt proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 6-3.

Central DeWitt's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12. As for Clinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.
