Henry County is a perfect 10-0 against West Creek since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will host the Coyote at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
West Creek will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Henry County extended their winning streak to four two weeks ago. The Patriots were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over Stewarts Creek. Considering the Patriots have won three games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Irelynn Beecham made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Beecham was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two).
In other batting news, Layne Latimer was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Breely Peirpoint, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
Henry County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Creek). They put the hurt on Kenwood with a sharp 15-4 victory on Tuesday. The Coyote haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Like Henry County, West Creek also got a great game from a two-way player: Paityn Swift. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off three hits. Swift was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ariyana Lewis, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. MacKenzie Simons was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
Henry County pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for West Creek, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-12.
Everything went Henry County's way against West Creek in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Henry County made off with a 16-0 win. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Coyote turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
