Evansville and Turner are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Evansville Blue Devils will head out on the road to take on the Turner Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Evansville had to suffer through a 66-25 loss at the hands of Edgerton. The game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Turner waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 43-37 W against the Cardinals.

Turner's victory was their 12th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points over those games. As for Evansville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Things could have been worse for Evansville, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-37 loss to Turner when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Evansville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
