Volleyball Recap: Immanuel Christian Comes Up Short

Immanuel Christian was the 2-0 winner over Bel Air when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Lucia Munoz paced Immanuel Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Munoz got some help from Lilia Ramirez and her 15 assists. Carla Sousa-Travieso controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Immanuel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bel Air, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Immanuel Christian will head out on the road to face off against Bowie at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bel Air, they will welcome Andress at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
