Basketball Game Preview: Union City Indians vs. Seton Catholic Cardinals

Union City hasn't had much luck against Seton Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Union City Indians will face off against the Seton Catholic Cardinals at 8:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Union City is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against Randolph Southern by a score of 49-40. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Seton Catholic had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Vikings 61-30. 61 seems to be a good number for the Cardinals as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Union City's win bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Seton Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.

Union City ended up a good deal behind Seton Catholic when the teams last played back in February, losing 63-44. Can Union City avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
