Volleyball Game Preview: JW North Huskies vs. South El Monte Eagles

The JW North Huskies are taking a road trip to challenge the South El Monte Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

JW North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past Miller 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won four matches in a row.

Meanwhile, South El Monte got the win against Loara on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

South El Monte never let Loara on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18, 25-22.

JW North's victory bumped their record up to 15-16. As for South El Monte, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.

JW North suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to South El Monte in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Huskies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
