Basketball Recap: Maricopa Triumphs

Maricopa won the last time they faced Alpaugh and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians came out on top against the Buffalos by a score of 54-43.

When it comes to explaining why Alpaugh lost, don't look at Richard Luna. Despite the final result, he went 5-for-11 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. Angel Alfaro was another key player, putting up nine points.

The victory got Maricopa back to even at 1-1.

Maricopa and Alpaugh will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Indians see the court they'll take on Coastal Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 1. As for Alpaugh, their break will end when they face Woodlake at 7:30 p.m. on December 1.
