Softball Recap: Evergreen Plainsmen vs. Kelso Hilanders
Evergreen extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Friday, dropping their season record down to 0-7 in the process. They came up short against the Kelso Hilanders, falling 13-0. If the Plainsmen were looking for revenge after losing 7-2 to the Hilanders when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Kelso, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The game marked their most dominant win of the season.
For Kelso's part, Paityn Mackin made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
