Baseball Recap: Buchanan Takes a Loss

Buchanan lost against Portage Central last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bucks fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 5-4.

Brody Lange was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Billington, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Buchanan has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19-1 record this season. As for Portage Central, their record is now 9-19.

While Buchanan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
