With a playoff win on the line, Ashland-Greenwood rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 54-47 win over the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors. The victory was nothing new for the Bluejays as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Lincoln Lutheran's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Grant Stowell, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds, and Jacob Duitsman, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Those 12 rebounds gave Stowell a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nathan Holle, who posted seven points.

Ashland-Greenwood's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Lincoln Lutheran, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-4.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Ashland-Greenwood won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Concordia at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Concordia will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Ashland-Greenwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lincoln Lutheran, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Doniphan-Trumbull at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Doniphan-Trumbull's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
