Basketball Recap: Zach Arrendondo's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ridgewood [Alwood/Cambridge] over Bureau Valley

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Bureau Valley Storm, falling 67-43. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2016.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]'s loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zach Arrendondo, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Roy Sandberg, who had 14 points.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Bureau Valley, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.
