Volleyball Recap: Head-Royce Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Head-Royce can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the American Eagles on Wednesday. The Jayhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Head-Royce actually scored more points across those four sets (96-95), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 28-26, 25-23, 25-22.

Head-Royce's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for American, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.

Head-Royce does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American, they will take on Cardinal Newman at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
