The Christian Heritage Sentinels' road trip will continue as they head out to face the East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Christian Heritage scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Athens Christian Preparatory Academy 76-44 on the road.
Meanwhile, East Texas Homeschool Sports had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They really took it to Christian Home Educators for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-43 victory on the road. The win was just what East Texas Homeschool Sports needed coming off of a 69-46 defeat in their prior matchup.
East Texas Homeschool Sports' win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Will Mason, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Mason is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Issac Hill, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Christian Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, their victory bumped their record up to 17-8.
Christian Heritage came up short against East Texas Homeschool Sports when the teams last played back in January, falling 66-54. Can Christian Heritage avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
